“Tradewinds of Delray Beach has always been a hidden Gem of a neighborhood, which the development of Delray has now reached, with sizable lots and coastal breezes, new construction here is in-evitable as all east of federal communities transition towards.”

He has a website to update home sales and what is available for the neighborhood, www.tradewindsdelraybeach.com.

Curtis also has two listed homes located at 130 E Hart Street Lantana, a new construction home and 913 S Lakeside Place Lantana, a designer showcase home by Jeanne Michelle design, who Rebecca Brown, his wife, is partner of the company as a designer.

The local agent has an approachable personality having been in the hospitality industry and he has worked as a boat captain, which helps him find the perfect waterfront home for his buyers. He also navigates the area very well, since he was born and raised in Delray Beach.

“I used to run bars and restaurants and owned a couple right out of college. As I was looking for locations for a restaurant or bar, I would call the agents and look over leases and I started to get interested in real estate that way. It came natural to me. I also bought my first home in Delray Beach when I was 25, and I still

own that house,” said Curtis. “I then became a boat captain, and I was always talking to people moving here. When I became a realtor, I became a guide to where to put your boat, running charters and doing real estate.”

Curtis is a local and was born at Bethesda Hospital and he grew up in Delray Beach and Ocean Ridge. He went to school at Gulf-stream School, Cardinal Newman High School and graduated from Lynn University.

“I feel that local knowledge will always be important in your search for a new home or investment property. I grew up locally in Ocean Ridge on the water. I am a surfer, spearfisher/diver, fisherman and Charter boat captain; I love the water and I am a nature enthusiast. I got married to my wife Rebecca Brown last October in Cabo San Lucas Mexico. She is an interior designer and master with the fixtures for our renovations. We have an English golden retriever named Bodhi,” said Curtis.

Owning properties of his own, Curtis has been able to guide his clients in real estate investment.

“I have skin in the game when it comes to investing and owning properties, as my wife and I own and manage several Airbnb rental properties and have taken on multiple flips in the area. I inform my clients on what they should be investing in as a personal home that will grow in value and how the benefits of owning a home can create wealth for your future,” he said.

The local realtor also gives back to local charities and will be playing Bass guitar in a local band called The Holidazed at Sun Up Sound Clash & Bazaar. The event will be held on July 21st from 11am to 8:30 pm at Fat Cats in Boca Raton, headliner The Resolvers and will benefit “the Coastal Stewards”, a marine life appreciation and conservation group.

His clients praise Curtis for going above and beyond in their search for real estate.

“Over several years, I was able to accumulate several Lantana contiguous Intracoastal properties. Curtis, as our realtor, was instrumental in this endeavor,” said client Brad Levine.

If you are looking for a waterfront home or an investment property, Curtis Brown is available to help you with your home search.
