Marc Julien has a storied past. In 2008 he began to leave his mark on the land (and landscape) of Delray Beach. He began his luxury home building career that elicited awe in those who saw his completed houses. His mission was to create spectacular homes that fit the needs (and dreams) of their clients. And that is exactly what he has done.
The homes were stately and statuesque with large glass windows and refinement rarely seen in the area. They had the pedigree of grandeur with a focus on quality, innovation and client-first design.
And, after 16 years Marc Julien Homes are still batting 1000. They continue to build homes that meet (and exceed) discerning clients’ needs. Julien knows that people want homes not simply to live, but to thrive. So, he offers them calming environments that include workspaces, social epicenters, wellness spaces and entertainment hubs.
The secret to their success is knowing what clients want and being attuned to lifestyle trends that embody this perfection.
Perfection comes in many forms (inside and out). They never compromise on construction or quality. Marc Julien Homes are all built to meet the rigorous Miami-Dade County building code standards with high-impact-rated glass to withstand Category 4 storms.
Their other strength lies in understanding that true luxury is, not just in materials or finishes, but in how a space meets the needs of the buyer.

“We spend a lot of time working with customers on floor plans, making sure the house lives the way they live,” says Julien, founder and visionary. “It’s not just adding more bedrooms – it’s about creating usable, purposeful space.”
Gone are the days of long hallways and rooms that sit untouched. Today’s buyers, he said, want homes that reflect their lives. They want spaces for home gyms, yoga rooms, podcast studios, and stock trading areas with massive video walls. This way they can keep their eye on the markets.
Julien also sees a shift toward lifestyle programming, which includes spaces that reflect not just where people sleep, but how they move, gather and relax.
This now includes a second family room for large gatherings, den areas with space for an office, a man cave, as well as club rooms with bar areas and game tables – all with outdoor access.
One of the newest additions to the wish-list of home buyers is a Soundproof Podcast Studio with professional lighting, cameras, and a green screen – all tailored to client’s media pursuits.
Julien doesn’t dismiss new trends or desires, he embraces them. “We are turnkey. We finish the house to the point that all the client needs to bring with them is their toothbrush.”
That’s a comforting thought. It’s also the reason why people are drawn to Marc Julien Homes as a beacon of light in a world filled with unknowns.
Just ask Madeleine “Your team helped us create a truly outstanding home. We are so happy!”
There are others who feel the same way. “We were told at the very beginning they were going to build us a beautiful house, and they did! Thank you!” said Patty.
Everyone knows that beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. That’s one reason that half of all Marc Julien Homes are custom-built.

These luxury homes are lifestyle specific with details that make life more productive and purposeful. Currently that includes details like cold plunge tubs, fire pits, expansive outdoor loggias and automated bug screens. Electric hurricane shutters are also offered that can quickly and easily roll up (and become invisible) with the touch of a button. Features that were unheard of in the past are now standard in their builds.
The homes come in Contemporary design, Key West style, Historic estates and Mediterranean. Each Marc Julien Home has its own distinct flair and style, depending on what buyers want.
But some things are static. “Design, function, and craftsmanship are our top priorities. It’s not about being the cheapest. It’s about value—what you get for what you spend. We love working with people who understand that.”
Currently they’re building a $17 million home on the exclusive North End of Palm Beach Island, just steps from beach access at 220 Arabian Road.
They also have ten spec homes breaking ground this May that will have all the perks and elegance of this namesake builder
Priced in the $3 million range with 3,500 to 3,900 square feet, these homes will be completed by Spring 2026. They all have pri-vate pools and the opportunity for buyers to add their own per-sonal touches.
From traditional pitched-roofs to clean-lined modern designs, there’s one constant: warmth. “We build contemporary homes that don’t feel like museums. They’re welcoming, functional, and still beautiful.”
One example of this is a home recently built that has a blue celestial ceiling with coffered detail. They also built a home surrounded by water with an infinity swimming pool 45 feet long by 25 feet wide (a swimmers’ dream).
According to Julien, people want modern interior design, with a more traditional looking home on the exterior. “The trend is moving toward contemporary finishes with warm colors and textures. People want a lot of space for large closets, great entertaining spaces, covered loggias and quality bathrooms.”
Bathrooms are becoming spa sanctuaries with oversized format tiles (as large as 4×6 feet) and large showers with tubs inside the wet area. There are also high-end finishes in porcelain and natural stone, especially in Palm Beach, where elegance reigns.
Because people are spending more time outside, they want elaborate landscaping with unique lighting, lots of Greenery and Majestic Palm Trees. Many continue to request outdoor Fire Pits, summer kitchens with covered patio and fluid living indoors and out.
“We’re always pushing for both functional and timelessness,” A house should make sense, and should feel like home the minute you walk in.”
It’s safe to say that Marc Julien is reshaping what it means to live your best life in South Florida without having to leave your home to find it!
