Hometown Favorite Tommy Paul Returns to 2026 Delray Beach Open

The Delray Beach Open announced today that top player and local resident Tommy Paul has committed to play the 2026 tournament. He will join No. 4 Taylor Fritz and No. 12 Casper Ruud, who the tournament previously announced.

The ATP 250 tournament runs Feb. 13-22 at the Delray Beach Stadium & Tennis Center. Tickets are available now at DelrayBeachOpen.com.

Paul’s 2025 season started strong with a quarterfinal finish at the Australian Open that helped him crack into the world’s Top 10 for the first time in January. He reached a second straight Grand Slam quarterfinal at the French Open, where he and Frances Tiafoe became the first American men since 2003 to reach the final eight there. He’s also reached four semifinals this year.

“Delray is one of my favorite events of the year,” said Paul, who reached a career-high world ranking of No. 8 in June. “Always fun getting to play in my backyard. I was gutted to miss this event in 2025 and really excited to be back in 2026.”

In 2024 Paul won a career-best 45 matches and was one of only four players to capture three ATP Tour titles during the season in which he also reached the Delray Beach Open final. He owns four career titles overall.

In addition to the highs of reaching two Grand Slam quarterfinals and cracking into the Top 10 this year, Paul and longtime girlfriend Paige Lorenze announced their engagement in July.
