Officially, this is the start of Spring, and here in Delray Beach, plenty of things will put a spring in your step. To enjoy all that is on offer, you need to revitalise your energy levels.
Our Health & Beauty article this month is “Sleep Tips That Will Energize You,” and we could all benefit from more energy. You might need that gusto and zest in your life to keep up with your workload or your kid load, which in turn will increase your stress load. Sleep is the answer for overall health, well-being, and productivity. This article will give tips on making that restful night’s sleep a reality.
The Cornell Art Museum, which was built in 1913, hosts several art exhibitions each year featuring artists from across the globe. It also has a Museum Store displaying original works by regional artists. We are pleased to see a couple of new exhibits worth visiting. “Mirror, Mirror: Celebrating Women in the Arts.” The all-female exhibition will highlight regional artists celebrating through their art, universal reflections of womanhood and their experiences. It is after all, International Women’s Month.
Another exhibit is Reflections by Andrés López, which opens on March 14. This Cuban-born artist is a fine oil painter, muralist, plein air artist, and arts educator.
We also have the St Patrick’s Parade & Festival on March 15. This funfilled event, which started here in Delray Beach in 1968, offers entertainment for everyone, young or old, and brings the Community of Delray Beach together.
If you have heard of the organization – Bound For College, then the chances are you have heard of Mark Sauer. He is our City Person this month, read on to learn about his passion for helping underserved students get to college and become leaders in society.
