THE SUMMER OF 2025 IS HERE!!!

It officially begins Friday, June 20, 2025, at 10:41 pm with the summer solstice. This occurs when the sun reaches its highest and northernmost point, resulting in the year’s longest day.

So, as the snowbirds leave town, the pace slows, and locals can enjoy the warmer climes, quieter roads, and some dates on the calendar.

The Coco Market’s mission is to bring local businesses together and build the community with its monthly wellness market. It is held at Old School Square on the first Sunday of every month, 9 am—2 pm (except a few select months). The events are free and open to the public. Get your body and mind ready for the coming months. You can expect to immerse yourself in yoga, meditation classes, cupping therapies, massages, workshops, pop-up food vendors, and more.

June 14 is the 5th Annual Delray Beach Pride Festival & Concert. It’s a place where you can enjoy an afternoon filled with live entertainment, local vendors, delicious food, and community spirit at Old School Square Pavilion from 4 pm to 7 pm. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Don’t miss this unforgettable evening of pride, unity, and fun in the heart of Delray Beach!

The middle of the month is Father’s Day on June 15. It is a time to spoil your Papa in whichever suits him best: fishing, cycling, walking, music, Art, pampering, or maybe the good old-fashioned way…through his stomach! With our vast array of restaurants, you will be sure to find something to suit every taste bud.

Finally, I must say a few words about a special person we lost on April 28.

Nancy Stewart-Franczak was always the brightest light in any room she entered. She was a strong, determined, passionate, and totally beautiful lady. Nancy leaves behind a legacy and will be missed terribly by family, friends, and every soul she touched. “Goodnight and God Bless Nancy”.
