Delray Beach is indeed the crown jewel of Palm Beach County. This Southern Belle is a three-time All-American City winner with beaches that boast “Blue Flag” status.
Delray is an enviable combination of sophistication and culture with an eclectic mix of residents and tourists.
That’s why Harold Van Arnem has become one of its biggest champions. With Midwestern roots and wildly popular backstory, Van Arnem has a heart for culture and a head for business.
He is passionate about giving back to his community and serves on several boards. His businesses include real estate management and development.
One project Van Arnem is bringing to market is The Maxwell, a modern luxury condo building in the heart of Delray Beach. It’s not your typical condominium. It’s a work of art, with floor to ceiling windows, a rooftop swimming pool, and luxurious kitchens and bathrooms with high-end finishes.

Living in The Maxwell will lift you up and give you expansive views and intrinsic harmony. If where you live is indicative of what you can create, then this mixed-use structure will be your divining rod for success and happiness.
This exclusive community of refined elegance will have contemporary one, two and three-bedroom condo homes starting at $1 million. There will be 23 units available that seamlessly blend sophisticated design with unmatched amenities.
There will be balconies, terraces and panoramic views of the coastline as well as cityscapes from a private rooftop. Also included is a 50-foot lap pool, state-of-the-art gym, outdoor kitchen and dining space, and professional space for business or social gatherings. This will be a pet-friendly community with a dog wash and walk station.
The Maxwell is walking distance from Delray’s finest restaurants, galleries, and shops. It’s also one block from the historic Pineapple Grove Arts District and two blocks from the eclectic excitement of Atlantic Avenue.
Experience Downtown Delray Beach while maintaining a sense of privacy and exclusivity. Whether you’re taking a morning stroll to a café or enjoying the serene outdoor spaces, The Maxwell offers the best of urban tropical living.

Another up-and-coming luxurious living experience will take place at The Arnem. Like The Maxwell, The Arnem will consist of luxury condominium homes that embrace the beauty of land and sea on Fifth Avenue in downtown Delray Beach. The Arnem offers an elevated urban lifestyle with four stories of exclusive condo homes including a 3,300 square-foot penthouse.
Both The Maxwell and The Arnem are co-owned by the legendary business, sports and technology wizard Harold Van Arnem. He is a partner in the nearby Hampton Inn – Hilton Suites, also on Fifth Avenue in downtown Delray.
Born in Cincinnati, Van Arnem conquered both the business world and the glitter and glamour of Hollywood.
He started out as a football star in high school and college, but an accident derailed his path from professional sports into business. He had scholarships to play for Xavier University and the University of Cincinnati before accepting a job with GE’s Computer Division.
He left GE to start his own computer timeshare firm and later, a software firm in Silicon Valley. After meeting the legendary Roger Penske, Van Arnem got into auto racing and won the SCAA Trans A championship.
He also owned the Detroit Express professional soccer team that won the league championship and foresaw the growth of sports and entertainment as a pillar of cable TV.
He co-produced movies “The Quick and the Dead,” starring Stacey Keach and Jackie Stewart, and partnered with actor George Hamilton to co-produce the cult classic “Love At First Bite.”
Van Arnem built one of the world’s largest technology leasing and finance companies and one of the first Internet Service Provider and web-hosting companies.
He has produced concerts at the Delray Tennis Center starring Joan Collins, James Brown, Donna Summers and Ray Charles.
Van Arnem (affectionately called Sonny) likes to say that “Life is a game of Monopoly that must be played with perseverance, faith and a positive attitude to win.”
You can read about his resilience, vision, and relentless pursuit of his dreams in his autobiography Van Arnem: Technology Pioneer, available on Amazon.
The book takes the reader on a journey of desires and decisions that lead to a life well lived. It also shows how hope and determination, despite obstacles, can still lead one to their dreams. Few people have lived an existence as fearless and fruitful as Harold Van Arnem.
Be a part of his latest vision coming to life; luxury living in downtown Delray Beach. Both The Maxwell and The Arnem are just steps away from the vibrant heart of Atlantic Avenue and mere blocks from Old School Square.
Both projects are walkable to the beach and have reserved parking and rooftop amenities that offer an elevated and unmatched lifestyle.
