The Seagate has always been a bastion of good taste. The staff, the amenities and the lure of the ocean have made the resort synonymous with coastal elegance.
That is why the hotel was tastefully updated to match its enviable surroundings. Just a few blocks from the Atlantic Ocean and the buzz of Atlantic Avenue, The Seagate Hotel offers guests a serene yet sophisticated escape that blends timeless charm with modern luxury.
Guests are welcomed by the gracious staff and given an extensive choice of hotel amenities. Whether you’ve come for a holiday or for business, the end result is the same – first class service is a constant.
The updated design ensures that every corner – from the airy lobby to the intimate dining spaces – reflects the inherent coastal beauty of South Florida. Thoughtfully chosen décor, natural fabrics, and a serene color palette complement The Seagate’s classic architectural style.
The lobby has a Ralph Lauren sensibility, beautifully crafted by Watts & Dray of New York. This talented design firm was founded by Vanessa Watts and Erika Dray. Their team creates exceptional hospitality spaces that combine luxury with visual storytelling.
Each of The Seagate’s 157 rooms and suites is a private retreat that embodies a relaxed elegance. Tasteful island-style furnishings are complemented by azure blue accents that mimic the sea. Handmade rugs, sunken tubs and marble bathrooms evoke the feeling of a Hollywood Hills Cottage – casual, yet refined.

The sculptural gabled headboards are not only a design statement, but a nod to Delray’s architectural history. The rooms reflect a Caribbean style that embraces guests with its warmth and comfort, accented by an art wall, which lends a unique creative flourish. Custom fabrics and intricate throw pillows add even more visual interest.
The bathrooms are a sanctuary in themselves. Spa-inspired walk-in showers or garden tubs feature soft neutral marble, blue tile accents, and Parisian-selected sconces. In the deluxe king rooms, a sliding wall opens from the bathroom to the bedroom, letting natural light flood both spaces.
Guest rooms are airy and sunlit by day and relaxing at night. Crisp white linens, luxe fabrics, and natural wood create a pristine environment and every room features a balcony to truly embrace indoor-outdoor living.
If you want luxury, you’ll find it at their Venetian Suite. It’s 1,100 square-feet with two balconies, two bathrooms and abundant natu-ral light. The Presidential Suite is 1,600 square- feet and offers ex-pansive terraces with sweeping views, perfect for entertaining.
The new Venetian Street Hotel Bar is a vibrant, social space anchored by custom tiles and warm wood finishes. It’s perfect for a lively evening cocktail or a quiet glass of wine at night. Adjacent is the Gate Café, a charming nook defined by sculptural portals and nostalgic designs, where the aroma of freshly brewed coffee is min-gles with the coastal breeze.

Bourbon Steak by Michael Mina, the hotel’s signature restaurant, is known for its Michelin Star Chef, Mina. Famous for its prime cut steaks, fresh caught seafood and seasonal dishes, Bour-bon Steak reigns as one of the region’s most celebrated dining destinations. Its private dining rooms can be reserved for dinners or special occasions.
The extensive wine list at Bourbon Steak satisfies both the curi-ous and the connoisseur. For a nightcap, check out the deco style bar in the restaurant where low lighting and a gentle buzz of con-versation create the perfect backdrop for an artisanal cocktail.
The nearby pool area is a little slice of heaven on earth. A sparkling lap pool is surrounded by generous cabanas and lush, dramatically illuminated palm trees, creating an ambiance that evolves from day into evening..
Next to the pool is a wonderful spa with specialized spa treatments, fitness classes, a steam room and a tranquility room. A low-key outdoor bar and poolside menu completes your al fresco experience.
A short jitney ride (or walk) away is the illustrious Seagate Beach Club with sweeping ocean views. Recent renovations in-clude an expanded bar, leather booths, plank-wood ceilings, and wood tables. The vibe is relaxed but elevated, ideal for a casual lunch, business meeting or a special dinner under the stars. The Beach Club restaurant – called Mr. Seas – offers a full menu.

It’s also the perfect setting for a romantic wedding party or a celebration of any kind. All that can be arranged in advance with the hotel management.
For guests with a taste for activity, The Seagate offers access to its pristine private golf course and racquet facilities. From holiday happenings to full-moon yoga, kids’ activities and spacious meeting rooms, The Seagate offers it all.
Beyond the property, the boutiques, galleries, and live music venues of Delray Beach are an easy stroll away if you are craving a dose of urban energy.
The Seagate is a place to feel renewed. A place where elegance reigns, where days are measured not by the clock, but by the rhythm of the tide and guests are treated as cherished friends.
This isn’t just a hotel, it’s an escape where the pace slows, the air has a hint of salt and citrus, and every detail whispers welcome.
