Something To Smile About

Dr. Janet Stoess-Allen has always loved Delray Beach. She also loves being an Orthodontist and is well-known as being top in her field.

Dr. Kevin McCaffrey is also dedicated to excellence in the field of Orthodontics.

That is the reason they merged their love for orthodontics and their top-tier expertise in Invisalign® treatment. The result is a new state-of-the-art office in downtown Delray Beach called Delray Orthodontics.

“We are the only orthodontists in Downtown Delray. We specialize in customized Invisalign® treatment for children and adults. We help people of all ages with misaligned or crooked teeth,” said Dr. Ja-net Stoess-Allen.

Both Dr. McCaffrey and Dr. Stoess- Allen are top 1% in the world providers of Invisalign® and are Diamond Plus Invisalign® Providers.

That is why their new pristine office (a few steps South of Atlantic Avenue) is a one-of-a-kind modern space solely devoted to making your smile straighter and brighter.

The office culture is one of kindness and inclusion and their goal is to make the process of tooth straightening one of ease with minimal pain and discomfort.

They also specialize in state-of-the-art digital capabilities that streamline the procedure by taking a 3-D model of your teeth that creates a well-defined road map for treatment.
Treatment with Invisalign® is a far cry from the olden days of teeth straightening. As a matter of fact, you don’t have to come to the office every month. Both doctors have the virtual ability to see your progress online. The reason is that you get trays to take home that are numbered so you can change them without having to go to the office.

This Virtual Monitoring, with different Invisalign trays moves the teeth just a little bit every week.

“I have patients that live in Europe and come to see me in the office once or twice a year. They send photos to ensure that their teeth are moving appropriately,” said Dr. Stoess-Allen, who also has a patient who works on a cruise ship and only comes in a few times a year.

Dr. McCaffrey is also known for his patient-centric, cutting-edge research-based orthodontic technologies that ensure exceptional treatment outcomes.

“We both love using the Invisalign® product and know that we can treat any type of malocclusion with clear aligners. Instead of using metal braces, there are custom-made ALIGNERS designed to ensure that your teeth will move the appropriate amount each week,” said Dr. McCaffrey.

That is why they don’t need to see patients every month to monitor their progress. Invisalign® is also more comfortable than braces (that typically require that patients come to the office every month) and can be removed when you brush or floss your teeth.

“Many patients come to our office and were told by their dentist (or orthodontist) that they’re not a candidate for Invisalign. Over 99% of patients that we treat can be treated with just Invisalign. If you have the training and experience, there’s no patient who needs braces to straighten teeth that I could not treat using Invisalign,” said Dr. Stoess-Allen.

If you need services (or procedures) done at a dentist office in order for Invisalign to straighten your teeth, it is advisable to do so.

Both Dr. Stoess- Allen and Dr. McCaffrey welcome consultations with patients’ dentists prior and during treatment.

Both doctors believe in Invisalign because it is the superior option for many patients. One reason is that you can remove the aligners and clean your teeth after eating. “With braces they’re fixed to your teeth and it’s much more difficult to clean the teeth really well, particularly for young people,” said Dr. McCaffrey.

You may only need to come to the office every 3 to 4 months, for fewer visits. It’s also quicker than traditional braces. With Invisalign the office visit usually takes 15 minutes or less as opposed to an hour.

Delray Orthodontics treats all age patients – from young people to seniors. The average Invisalign treatment is approximately 12 months. And, you don’t have to live in Florida full-time to have your teeth aligned perfectly.

But perfection is what both doctors have as a goal for each patient (snowbirds or full time Florida residents).

“I’ve been an orthodontist for 32 years in New York. I have been coming to Delray for many years and it has always been my goal to have a practice here,” said Dr. Stoess- Allen.

Her excellence has not gone unnoticed. Dr. Stoess- Allen was chosen by Who’s Who as the Orthodontist of the Year in 2010, and was recently named as one of the best orthodontists in NYC by ThreeBe-stRated.com.

Delray Orthodontics also has a wonderful full-time staff. Cyndi, the office manager, is welcoming, informative and kind. And Diana, the clinical assistant is nurturing and precise.

Delray Orthodontics consultations are completely complementary, and you don’t need a referral from your dentist to come. You can schedule a virtual appointment and upload photos of your teeth.

That way you can get treatment initiated right away. Right now, they are offering a 20% discount through November.

Delray Orthodontics welcomes you to their new spacious calming space in downtown Delray. It’s the one-stop solution for all your orthodontic needs.
