That’s where Ship It Right and Pak It Tight come in. These two locally owned Delray Beach Private Post Offices turn the stress of post office duties into a pleasant experience.
Say what? Not many people will say that about places that ship packages or sell packing materials.
On the contrary, walking into these stores feels like stepping into a scene from a holiday movie. Twinkling lights sparkle across the counter, cheerful music fills the air, and friendly faces greet you on arrival.
Owner Ronnie Jane has made that his mission.
He also makes sure there is extra help this time of the year. And, not just anybody, they are knowledgeable and experienced. “The reason I do this is to give my customers personal attention, so they feel confident and cared for.”
His aim is a perfect bullseye.
“The employees at Pak it Tight are efficient, friendly, and patient with those who aren’t tech-savvy. Coming here is such an easy and pleasant experience compared to the post office,” said Dalia.
Kindness and helpfulness are qualities not regularly seen in these types of businesses. But customers are effusive when it comes to talking about Ship It Right and Pak It Tight.
“They went above and beyond for me. The owner is genuine and friendly. I’ll always be a customer because I am treated so well here,” said Leslie.
Ship It Right and Pak It Tight are a rarity in this retail environment. Their services come with a smile, and every package gets treated as if it was a rare gem.
One longtime customer recalls the team’s compassion when she needed to ship a package to friends who had lost their home in the California wildfires. “They were so helpful and kind, it made the whole process easier.”
This season, Pak It Tight and Ship It Right are going all out for the holidays with festive decorations and a visit from Santa and his helpers. They’re also participating in Operation Santa, a pro-gram that lets children send letters to the North Pole and receive responses from volunteers.
For Ronnie, it’s all part of creating a business that feels like fam-ily. “Each store is an extension of who we are. We believe in kindness, honesty and hard work. And our customers feel it.”
That family spirit is indeed part of the mix. Ronnie’s nine-year-old son Francisco loves helping out on weekends, and this year, Ronnie and his wife Maria welcomed a new baby girl.
Ronnie’s journey to business ownership is one of heart and hard work. After a decade working for the USPS, he realized his passion wasn’t just for shipping, it was for people. I loved helping customers solve problems, he said. After a while I knew I wanted my own private post office.
That dream became reality in 2023 when he opened Ship It Right on Military Trail and Atlantic Ave. A year later he launched his sec-ond location, Pak It Tight on Linton Blvd. near the Intracoastal. To make it happen, he sold his car and invested every dollar he had. “It was a leap of faith. But I have never felt happier.”
Now, both stores are thriving and expanding their offerings. In addition to shipping through USPS, FedEx, UPS and DHL, they offer custom packing, printing, scanning and faxing.
They also do laminating, notary services, shredding, passport photos and PO Boxes (with real street addresses). They also do bulk mailings and marketing deliveries fast, easy and affordable.
“Bulk mailing can be overwhelming, especially for schools or businesses sending thousands of flyers. We simplify the process and save our customers money,” said Ronnie.
During the holidays their workload triples, but you’d never know it. The reason is that they hire extra staff for the season so there are no long lines or waits, he said. “Everyone deserves to feel relaxed and taken care of.”
And that’s exactly what happens. Whether someone is sending a single letter or a large box of gifts, they’re treated like family. The team takes time to explain options, find the best shipping rates, and ensure every box is packed securely.
Shipping can be confusing for anyone. That’s why the staff educates their customers. “We want them to feel good about their decisions and know their packages are in good hands.”
Customers get that immediately. “Pak It Tight did an excellent job for me. I needed a fragile item picked up and delivered, and every-thing went perfectly.”
Others appreciate the convenience and human touch. “I went to the post office in the rain twice and they wouldn’t even tape my label,” said Susan. “At Ship It Right, they taped it for me and made me feel welcome.”
It’s these small acts – a piece of tape, a smile and a few kind words that make all the difference. It’s also why Ship It Right & Pak It Tight have become the go-to places for stress-free mailing in Palm Beach County.
For Ronnie, success isn’t measured in packages, but in people. “We’re growing because we care. When you walk into one of our stores you’re not just another customer. You’re part of the family.”

From the shimmering lights and good cheer to the joy of a new baby, Ronnie is one happy man.
“My dream has always been to build something meaningful that helps people, brings them comfort and makes their day a little brighter.”
