PAK IT TIGHT AND SHIP IT RIGHT: Come For All Your Post Office Needs

Life can be stressful, but it doesn’t have to be. Ronnie Jane knew that early on in life.

He was raised by a single mother with good values and a strong work ethic.

Her son has been following in her footprints ever since he was a teen.

He worked at Howards Deli in Boca washing dishes and ended up making sandwiches in their deli when he was 18.

From there he worked at the USPS for ten years tending to the shipping, packing and evolving needs of customers. But he never took his eyes off the ultimate goal, one that is seared in the American dream.

“After working at the USPS, I knew what my true passion was. I loved helping people find a solution for shipping, packaging, mailing and other needs. I knew I wanted to have my own private post office.”

So that is what he did. After working at PAK IT TIGHT in Delray Beach for many years, he ended up buying his own shipping store.

That was two years ago. Since then, he has garnered a loyal following and expanded the business to include PO Boxes, Stamps (domestic and international), Offices Supplies, Boxes, Printing, Scanning, a Notary, lamination, Passport services, Photos, Greeting cards and much more.

The best part is that you don’t have to wait in long lines and beg for help. “I recently went to the USPO office twice (in the rain) and they refused to tape my label, so I had to leave. When I went to Ship It Right they taped my label and made me feel welcome,” said Susan.
There is a reason for their positive customer satisfaction and enthusiasm. And it starts at the top.

“I love helping people. Everyone who comes in has a different story and a different situation. We get to be part of making their day easier.”

Ronnie also feels good about saving his customers money. For Bulk Mailing (for businesses or schools) they not only make it easy, but they save them money.

“Bulk Mailing can be overwhelming sending 4000 flyers, but we make the process simple and save them money. We also specialize in bulk advertising and marketing pieces.”

His formula seems to be working very well. Ronnie opened Ship It Right (on Military Trail and Atlantic Ave) two years ago and is celebrating his one-year anniversary at their second location Pak It Tight, on Linton Ave near the intracoastal.

It makes perfect sense that this ambitious and courteous people-person would garner clients and accolades. It’s also why people are turning to private post offices for many of their needs, especially in this age of online everything.

Just ask Johnathon. “Pak It Tight did an excellent job for me. I needed a bulky heavy fragile item picked up from an auction house in Florida and delivered to Texas. Everything was flawless, from packing to delivery.”

Happy customers makes this man of the people happiest. “Each store an extension of my family. My staff has the same work ethic, we believe in kindness, honesty and hard work.”

At Pak It Tight, customers don’t just drop off a box and hope for the best. They walk into a welcoming space where the team takes time to understand their needs, explain options, and helps with any challeng-es. That could be shredding papers, getting a passport or passport photos, faxing, scanning, copying or notary services (for only $10).

They also have confidential PO Boxes (with a street address, allowing deliveries from USPS, FedEx, UPS, and Amazon). “Shipping can be confusing, especially for people who don’t do it every day. “We educate our customers so they feel secure, not lost.”

Whether it’s a simple label print or international shipping for a fragile item, the team at Pak It Tight and Ship It Right make it seamless. They will pack, tape, bubble-wrap, and protect every package like it’s their own—because to them, it is.

The best part – there are no long lines and no frustration, just help. There are four employees at each location, so you won’t feel like you’re stranded on a deserted island. Ronnie knows that a one-stop shop makes everyone’s life easier and more efficient.

Customers can drop off returns, send gifts, ship products, or just stop by to get something notarized. They come back often, not just for the convenience, but because they know they’re being taken care of.

“We’re growing because we care. Each store mirrors my vision of being reliable, helpful and affordable. This is my dream. Being privately owned means we’re able to put the customer first, no matter how personal the request or how expeditiously the service is needed.”

Both businesses are indeed a family affair. Ronnie’s nine-year-old son Francisco also helps on weekends. “He loves coming to the store,” said Ronnie. “And we’re expecting a baby girl this summer, I’m super excited!”

For Ronnie, this business isn’t just about packages, it’s about people. His mother Maria is a massage therapist and his biggest cheerleader. “She has supported my dream from day one. My goal is for her to not have to work someday.”

The way things are going for this family man his dream will soon come true. Those who visit Ship it Right and Pak it Tight are proof.

“Wow! Great service, thank you Jack. No line and same services as USPS! Convenient and easy,” said Pat Kelly.

Lezlie found the same harmony in happenstance. “They went above and beyond helping me ship a heavy package to friends who lost their home in the fires. I will always be a happy customer.”
Because at Pak It Tight, it’s never just about the box or about how you ship it, it’s about how you’re treated along the way.
