Siperstein Dermatology Group is excited to welcome a new physician to its growing family of top-tier providers— Dr. Luis Soro, a board-certified dermatologist with more than a decade of experience in cosmetic dermatology and minimally invasive aesthetic treatments.
Born and raised in Miami, Dr. Soro has always had a passion for both the science and artistry behind skin health. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the Ivy League University of Pennsylvania, where he concentrated in biology and chemistry, building the strong academic foundation that would shape his future in medicine.
After graduating from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Soro completed his dermatology residency at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Pennsylvania, where he served as Chief Resident during his third year. Throughout his training, he developed extensive experience in general dermatol-ogy, dermatopathology, dermatologic surgery, and cosmetic proce-dures—skills that now allow him to deliver results that are both medically sound and aesthetically exceptional.
For the past 11 years, Dr. Soro has practiced cosmetic dermatology across South Florida, becoming widely sought after for natural-looking, minimally invasive enhancements. His specialties include: Neuromodulators such as Botox; Soft tissue fillers; Laser therapies and Advanced cosmetic and rejuvenation procedures designed to restore and refresh without looking overdone.
Dr. Soro has also earned numerous awards and scholarships throughout his career, including recognition for aesthetic, clinical, and surgical excellence. He has presented at major conferences, authored scientific publications and textbook chapters, and is frequently invited to participate in speaking engagements, advisory board panels, and professional trainings, particularly in the field of injectables.
What sets Dr. Soro apart is his philosophy: the best results don’t scream, they whisper. He is known for helping patients look refreshed, healthier, and more confident, using carefully tailored plans that often combine multiple treatment modalities over time.
His experience in dermatopathology—the microscopic evaluation of skin conditions, adds another layer of precision to his work. This deeper understanding of the skin at a cellular level enables him to accurately diagnose conditions, design individualized treatment plans, and optimize both medical outcomes and cosmetic results.
Dr. Soro’s passion for dermatology began early.
“I had always had an interest in dermatology since my teenage years, having visited the dermatologist on numerous occasions for severe acne,” he shared. “But it wasn’t until medical school that I began to understand the breadth and overall appeal of the specialty… The ability to diagnose medical conditions visually, treat skin cancer, use lasers, inject fillers, and understand derma-topathology—all of these factors combined made it a highly coveted specialty for me.”
Since completing residency, he has focused on cosmetic dermatology and elective aesthetic procedures— work he describes as deeply rewarding.
“It is quite rewarding helping patients look and feel their best,” he said.
