Led by John Digges, the Let’s Talk Mortgages team is redefining what it means to be a modern mortgage lender.
“Securing a mortgage can sound daunting,” said John, “but our job is to make it clear, simple, and stress-free.”
Their clients range from first-time homebuyers to seasoned investors with complex financial profiles. The team offers everything from Qualified “Conventional” loans (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA) to Non-Qualified Mortgage programs like DSCR, bank statement, and foreign national loans.
“Our primary roles are to contribute by assisting the client in their understanding of the various lending options and reducing unknowns so they can make informed decisions, followed by directly facilitating/funding mortgages for the client executing on their real estate transaction. Our preference is to empower the client’s process by having their respective professional service team offer feedback directly in real time to our mortgage process, all for the benefit of the client. We find clients appreciate the transparency and enhanced value this coordinated approach provides,” said John, “Probably the best example of who we are is in our approach to community. We sponsor community events two to four times per year to raise money for various local charities.”
John and his team of hard-working mortgage heroes, including Carlos Melgarejo, Chris Jensen, Steve Chaney and Mitch Bobrow, are known for being good guys doing good things in the local community.
John has spent the past 24 years in the mortgage industry, from brokerage companies to National Banks and has been involved in every aspect of the loan process. His company joined Premier Mortgage Associates to assist in the rapid growth of the company, which is a direct result of the excellent reputation the company holds throughout the State of Florida. Throughout his career, John has prided himself on providing thousands of satisfied homeowners with their mortgage financing needs.

Carlos Melgarejo has over twenty years’ experience leading the sales and financial efforts of numerous banking, music tours and marketing organizations. Experienced working in highly collaborative, team-oriented environments where continuous learning is vi-tal for production and success. Highly adaptable outlook, as well as flexibility, developed via a result of the need to perform in fast-paced settings with constantly changing requirements.
Chris Jensen joined the Delray Beach team in 2020 and brings an extensive and diverse professional background to mortgage lending. A native of Chicago, Chris relocated to Delray Beach in 2012 while managing an independent financial services platform. He has further expertise in healthcare revenue cycle management, family office financial services, business aviation, and is a former professional ice hockey player. Chris’ background in complex financial transactions outside of real estate makes him a welcome addition to our team’s deep real estate expertise to manage complex lending scenarios.
They host many charity events including an annual toy drive for 4Kids charity. The team says real estate is picking up quickly this season.
