IRON VALOR CROSSFIT: Inspiring Wellness

The Stein family is well known in the Delray Beach community for helping locals along their fitness and wellness journey. Their newest venture— Iron Valor CrossFit, located in downtown Delray Beach— is quickly becoming a fitness staple for residents of all ages and experience levels.

he family-run gym is owned and operated by siblings Ginger and Jeremy Stein, along with their father, Jeremy Stein Sr. and mother, Tracy Stein. Since opening their doors just a few months ago, Iron Valor has built a strong and growing community by focusing on intentional coaching, inclusive workouts, and a genuine commit-ment to each member’s success— both physically and mentally.

“It’s always been a passion of mine to help others feel strong and carry that over to the gym,” said Ginger Stein, a CrossFit Level 2 certified coach and former collegiate lacrosse player at Lynn University. “We’re not just here to count reps— we’re here to help people grow, feel empowered, and become their strongest selves.”

Ginger’s love for CrossFit started in high school. “My friend was going into the Army and I was preparing to play college lacrosse. We decided to try a CrossFit class to improve our conditioning, and we fell in love with it. I never turned back,” she said. “I love the community aspect and the constant variety in the workouts. It’s something that challenges you every day.”

That same passion and energy now define the atmosphere at Iron Valor. From the moment members walk through the door, they’re greeted by coaches who know their names, their goals, and their stories. Ginger says that connection is intentional and rare.

“What sets us apart from other gyms is our coaching approach,” she explained. “It’s very intentional, and we emphasize mental grit, emotional support, and inclusivity. Whether you’re just start-ing or a seasoned athlete, we meet you where you are and guide you from there.”

Iron Valor’s workouts are scalable to any fitness level, making it approachable for beginners while still challenging for experienced CrossFitters. A typical session might include barbell presses, rowing machines, rope climbs, or bodyweight movements, often paired with mobility and recovery work. The gym also offers Olympic weightlifting classes three times a week, monthly fitness challenges, and a No Sweat Intro— a free consultation to help new members ease into the CrossFit experience.

“Anyone can do CrossFit,” Ginger emphasized. “The biggest misconception is that you have to be fit to start, but it’s the opposite. This is where you come to get strong, healthy, and confident.”

In just a few months, the gym has already made a big impact. Members are not only hitting personal fitness milestones— they’re building lasting friendships and finding a community that supports them inside and outside of the gym.

“We’re not just a gym. We’re a second home for our members,” Ginger said. “People come in, work out, and stay to hang out. They bring their dogs, attend events together, and truly cheer each other on. That’s what makes Iron Valor special.”

That feeling of connection is echoed by members, many of whom were drawn in by the gym’s welcoming environment and stayed because of the culture and coaching.

“I looked at a few different CrossFit locations near me and end-ed up choosing Iron Valor,” said one member. “The coaches are amazing. I know I’m pushing myself but in a safe environment. The equipment is top-notch, and most importantly, the vibe is just good. You feel seen and welcomed. I encourage everyone to drop in. I think you’ll love it.”

Another member added, “For years I said someone needs to open a CrossFit closer to Atlantic Avenue. This place is exactly what Delray needed. All new Rogue and Concept2 equipment, excellent coaches, and a strong community. Come check it out; you won’t be disappointed.”

Iron Valor’s emphasis on empowerment, education, and elite coaching is helping members achieve personal growth— physically and mentally. As more people discover the gym, the Stein family remains focused on building an inclusive space where anyone, re-gardless of their fitness level or background, can thrive.

“Our goal is to help you become the best version of yourself,” said Ginger. “If we can help you leave the gym feeling stronger, more confident, and more connected— that’s what it’s all about.”
