The GFWC Woman’s Club of Delray Beach, in observance of GFWC President’s Day of Service Project for World Health Day, supported efforts to help the area’s homeless by donating 75 hygiene kits, 115 pairs of socks and a variety of other supplies to the In-terfaith Committee for Social Services.
In addition to the socks and hygiene kits for men and women, the club in April also donated shower bags, towels and sheets that were distributed by the Interfaith Committee.
The GFWC Woman’s Club of Delray Beach is a nonprofit or-ganization comprised of a diverse group of women dedicated to volunteering and raising money for charitable purposes. Through community involvement and financial contributions, the club has supported a variety of local organizations, including the Caring Kitchen, Roots & Wings, Project Holiday, the Delray Beach Public Library, Atlantic High School college scholar-ships and the 505 Teen Center.
