Our Independence Day celebration is a Delray Beach tradition but will look a little different this year due to COVID-19. The City is offering a fun, family event at one of the area’s largest parks to celebrate the day. This is part of a weekend-long list of activities throughout the City. Uncle Sam Jam will include live entertainment, children’s activities, food and merchandise vendors, pool games, strolling jugglers and magicians, and fun for the entire family! The event will run from 10:00am until 1:00pm. Join us for the fun!
JULY 4TH SAND SCULPTING CONTEST
Sunday, July 4th, 2021. Join us at the beach behind the Pavilion from 9:00am – 11:00am for the Sand Sculpting Contest, physically distanced of course. Two categories (Adult and Children) will be awarded. Registration is free, required in advance, and is open to everyone. Participants must bring their own tools.
Use of colors: If you choose to use color in your sculpture, it is required you use an organic powdered tempera paint.
Fireworks
The Delray Beach Fireworks, sponsored by Zambelli Fireworks, will be held July 4th from two undisclosed locations in the City. The magic will be brilliant! Look up in the sky at 9pm and enjoy the show!

RED, WHITE & BLUE WITH A WATERFRONT VIEW!
This family-friendly July 4th event will be held at Intracoastal Park (2240 N. Federal Hwy). Enjoy live music, food trucks, and one of the largest fireworks display in Palm Beach County. Bring your chairs and blankets to enjoy the waterfront view. Additional details will be added closer to July 4th.

Limited parking is available at the Park + includes ADA parking. Convenient, complimentary shuttle locations + includes ADA parking (shuttle service begins at 5:30pm).

Kids of all ages are encouraged to “Dress to Impress” in their fa-vorite July 4th costume. Winners will be selected by members of the City Commission and receive photo opps.
The boat ramp at Harvey Oyer Park will close at 11pm on July 3rd to allow for the barge carrying fireworks. It will re-open on July 4th at 11pm.
Johnson and Johnson Covid-19 vaccines will be available to event goers 18 at the event. No appointment needed.
Individuals that are not fully vaccinated are encouraged to wear masks. All patrons should use their discretion when deciding whether or not to wear masks and enter at their own risk, as the City cannot guarantee protection from infectious diseases.
