Let us introduce you to Crew Bold. In 2014, when Crew competed for the first time at the United States Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, we shared a picture of him standing in front of the Olympic rings while holding Atlantic Ave Magazine… Mag on Vacation!
Fast forward just over a decade, and we are delighted to share the news that he recently earned a spot on the U.S. Senior National Gymnastics Team.
Crew was born on May 26, 2001, to Bill and Liz Bold. He was born and raised right here in Delray Beach, FL, where he grew up surfing, skating, and flipping. His siblings are his sister, Capri, and his brothers, Cole and Billy. His passion for gymnastics began at a young age and has only grown stronger through his continued success in this sport.
He graduated from the University of Michigan in 2024, where he became a two-time All-American, a three-time Big Ten team champion, and a Big Ten individual champion on the Parallel Bars. Competing for Michigan provided him with the foundation to succeed at the highest levels of the sport and remains one of the highlights of his career.

After graduation, he continued to compete at the elite level.
When he had the opportunity to compete internationally in Germany, he found enormous success against world-class competition. In 2025, he won gold on high bar at the Winter Cup Championships held in Louisville, Kentucky and went on to earn silver on high bar at the U.S. Championships. These accomplishments, amongst others, helped secure his spot on the Senior National Team.
The high bar has become his signature event, known for its high-flying release moves and intensity, and he is proud to be recognized among the best in the country. His pride in representing both the United States and his hometown of Delray Beach is a source of inspiration for the local community, fostering a sense of shared identity and community spirit.
Crew’s achievements are truly remarkable, and we admire his dedication and talent. We wish him every success in the future, knowing that he will continue to inspire us with his performances.
