Second Annual “Tour de Friendship” Charity Ride Returns to South Florida to Support Special Needs Programs

Following a successful inaugural ride that brought together cyclists and supporters from across South Florida and raised over $56,000 for special needs programming, Friendship House of Boca Raton is proud to announce the second annual Tour de Friendship on Sunday, November 15, 2026. This growing charity cycling event welcomes riders from across Florida to ride in support of children and young adults with special needs.

The community charity ride will feature both 30-mile and 60-mile route options from Boca Raton to Palm Beach and back along scenic A1A, welcoming riders of varying experience levels to ride together in support of children and young adults with special needs.

This year’s ride will include:

• 30- and 60-mile route options
• FHP escort support
• SAG vehicles and stocked rest stops
• Custom rider jersey, water bottles, and socks
• Expanded ride logistics and coordination

Finish-line BBQ celebration for riders, families, and supporters.

Riders register with a $150 entry fee and commit to raising a minimum of $1,500, helping directly support Friendship House programs that build friendship, inclusion, and community for children and young adults with special needs.

“Last year showed us what’s possible when people come together around a meaningful cause,” said Rabbi Sholom Kessler, Founder and Executive Director of Friendship House.

Founded in 2020, Friendship House is a nonprofit dedicated to building an inclusive community for children, teens, and young adults with special needs through social, recreational, and community-based programming designed to break the cycle of isolation.
