Known affectionately as “Captain Curtis,” Curtis Brown has been helping clients find their dream homes since 2013. As a seasoned real estate professional with Hampton Real Estate Group, Curtis specializes in Delray Beach, East Lantana, Ocean Ridge, Hypoluxo/barrier islands and all throughout Palm Beach County— areas he knows intimately, having been born and raised there.
Curtis is currently representing several prime listings and development projects. One project is a prime oversized lot located at 198 SE 4th Street Delray Beach, listed at $2.3 million. This is a .59-acre lot in one of Delray Beach’s most desirable locations, just four blocks from downtown Delray.
His listing at 130 E Hart Street Lantana is a brand-new coastal retreat! Listed at $1,549,000, this home offers the perfect blend of luxury and seaside living, with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a two-car garage, and a private swimming pool.
Another beautifully renovated home is available for sale at 913 S Lakeside Place, Lantana. Listed at $1,379,000, this fully renovated 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom sanctuary is crafted by the esteemed interior designer Jeanne Michelle Design of Palm Beach. The home is centrally located just a leisurely stroll away from charming restaurants, shops, and beachside resorts.
Calling all beach lovers and builders! Curtis has another stunning listing located at 5 Sailfish Lane Ocean Ridge. Listed at $1,150,000, this 7,515 sq. ft lot comes with deeded beach access and is the ideal location to build your dream beach house.
Curtis and his team have had a recent record land sale at 902 Robert Road Delray Beach in Tradewinds Estates of Delray Beach. The new construction home sold at $903 per foot at $2,650,000.

A graduate of Lynn University, Curtis also attended Gulfstream School and Cardinal Newman High School. Born at Bethesda Hospital and raised in Delray Beach and Ocean Ridge, his lifelong connection to the area gives him unmatched insight and expertise.
“I used to run bars and restaurants and owned a couple right out of college. As I was looking for locations for a restaurant or bar, I would call the agents and look over leases and I started to get interested in real estate that way. It came natural to me. I also bought my first home in Delray Beach when I was 25, and I still own that house,” said Curtis.
Before becoming a realtor, Curtis was also a boat captain— an experience that has proven valuable in helping clients find the perfect waterfront homes.
“As a boat captain, I was always talking to people moving here. When I became a realtor, I became a guide to where to put your boat, running charters and doing real estate,” he said.
His local knowledge helps his clients in their search for a new home or investment property.
“I grew up locally in Ocean Ridge on the water. I am a surfer, spear fisher/diver, fisherman and Charter boat captain; I love the water, and I am a nature enthusiast. I got married to my wife Rebecca Brown in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. She is an interior designer and master with the fixtures for our renovations. We have an English golden retriever named Bodhi,” said Curtis.
Owning properties of his own, Curtis has been able to guide his clients in real estate investment. “I have skin in the game when it comes to investing and owning properties, as my wife and I own and manage several Airbnb rental properties and have taken on multiple flips in the area. I inform my clients on what they should be investing in as a personal home that will grow in value and how the benefits of owning a home can create wealth for your future,” he said.

His hands-on approach and deep local roots have earned Curtis high praise from clients. “Over several years, I was able to accumulate several Lantana contiguous Intracoastal proprieties. Curtis, as our realtor, was instrumental in this endeavor,” said client Brad Levine.
Captain Curtis continues to make waves both on and off the water. One of the standout ways he gives back to the community is through a quarterly charity event hosted at Ravish off Ocean, a local favorite. The event highlights REEL FISHING CHARITIES, an organization dedicated to providing fishing gear and mentorship to kids in need, teaching them not just how to fish, but how to connect with nature and build confidence through the sport.
The event is powered by Sunup Sound Clash, a community-driven celebration of music and living. Curtis himself takes the stage as the bass guitarist in the popular Holidazed Band, bringing good vibes, live music, and purpose together in a way only he can.
If you are looking for a waterfront home or an investment property, Curtis Brown is available to help you with your home search.
